'David Tennant talks about his excitement in the lead-up to his first ever live theatre performance to audiences in cinemas across the world.
David Tennant starred as Richard II in the Royal Shakespeare Company production of the play in Stratford-upon-Avon from Thursday 19th October until Saturday 16th November 2013 before transferring to the Barbican Centre in London from Monday 13th November 2013 until Saturday 24th January 2014. The performance of 13th November was screened in various cinemas worldwide and later released on DVD.
David Tennant reprised his role as Richard II for the RSC Kings And Country cycle at the Barbican Centre in January 2016 before transferring to the Brooklyn Academy Of Music (BAM) in NYC in March 2016.
