David Tennant Treat 4 Today for Monday 27th July 2020

The David Tennant Treat 4 Today are just David Tennant's scenes from the fifth episode of Camping. This episode was titled Just Plain Mad.

David played mild-mannered, long-suffering, henpecked husband Walt Jodell in the eight episode Camping which was broadcast in the US from Sunday 14th October 2018.

Camping was based on the British series of the same name. Jennifer Garner played Kathryn in the limited series.

The comedy kicked off on Walt's 45th birthday which was supposed to be a delightful weekend back to nature at least according to his obsessively organized and aggressively controlling wife Kathryn. But when the camping trip gathers Kathryn's meek sister, her holier-than-thou ex-best friend and a free-spirited tagalong in one place, it becomes a weekend of tested marriages and woman-on-woman crime that won't soon be forgotten.

The synopsis of this episode was:
'With her plans turned upside down, Katryn decides to cede control during a trip to the grocery store. There, Carleen, starts to unravel, while a fed-up Sol vents.

Nina-Joy and George explore the state of their relationship.

Miguel tries to get back on Jandice's good side, but pays a price.'

Many thanks to Just Tennant for posting just David Tennant's sections of Camping to YouTube and apologies if these do not play worldwide.

As well as being asked about winning the award and about making an acceptance speech, David was also asked by Kirsteen O'Sullivan (photoed above) about David still being popular among fans for Doctor Who. David's modest response that it is probably more to do with Doctor Who than him!

The David Tennant Treat 4 Today is a MP3 of the 2012 radio play Love Virtually.

David Tennant starred as Leo in this romantic radio play which was based on a book by Austrian novelist Daniel Glattauer.

It was described as 'a thoroughly modern epistolary novel with one difference - its protagonists Emmi Rothner and Leo Leike communicate exclusively by email.

They 'meet' when Emmi mistakenly sends an email to Leo's inbox. A romance ensues that allows them to live out a shared secret life far removed from their day-to-day existences. The story asks to what extent the relationship relies on fantasy and escapism and whether it will survive a real life meeting. The problem is Emmi is married - but does a virtual affair 'count' as adultery? The tale questions whether it's possible to fall in love with someone you've never met - and explores the implications of anonymity in cyberspace.'
