David Tennant Treat 4 Today for Thursday 2nd February 2023

The David Tennant Treat 4 Today is a clip from 2005 version of The Quatermass Experiment.

It was broadcast in 2005 live on television and was a remake of the 1953 television series of the same title.

David Tennant played Briscoe and it was during the rehearsals for The Quatermass Experiment that David was offered the role of the Tenth Doctor in Doctor Who. 

This was not announced to the public until later in April but his fellow cast members became aware of the speculation surrounding Tennant so in the live broadcast Jason Flemyng changed Quatermass's first line to Tennant's character from "Good to have you back, Gordon" to "Good to have you back, Doctor" as a deliberate reference.
