What I especially loved in these particular episodes was the exposure of the Doctor's drastically changing personality, when you actually realize that he might only resemble human intentionally, just to make you feel comfortable with him. But in reality, this alien is so much more than that, with his immense knowledge, power and wisdom of justice, unreachable for our resent level of the development as a civilization. And the way DT brilliantly makes these all believable is just.. beyond commenting.
