David Tennant played himself in Believe It! which is an exaggerated version of Richard Wilson's life in that the main character (played by Richard) is a Scottish actor and national treasure, unmarried, private, passionate about politics, theatre and Manchester United - all true!
The description of the episode (which is titled Grumpy Old Menopause) is:
'Richard Wilson finds himself getting grumpier and grumpier with age. What to do about it? He enlists help from someone even grumpier than him - Alexey Sayle.'
