On Tuesday 12th November 2019 David Tennant was the surprise special star guest at a concert in London which was titled Playing In The Dark.
The concert was by the BBC Symphony Orchestra and was based around the darker side of Neil Gaiman's books. It was at The Barbican Centre in London and broadcast on BBC Radio Three on Monday 23rd December with an edited version during the morning of Christmas Day on BBC Radio Four.

David Tennant was introduced to the stage by Neil Gaiman and the concert also featured Neil's wife Amanda Palmer and baritone Simon Butteriss. The BBC Symphony Orchestra was conducted by Mihhail Gerts.
