On Tuesday 5th July 2016 David Tennant was awarded an honorary degree from the Royal Conservatoire Of Scotland. David was created an Honorary Doctor Of Drama.
The Royal Conservatoire Of Scotland was formerly the Royal Scottish Academy Of Music And Drama and was where David Tennant studied between 1988 and 1991.
The Royal Conservatoire Of Scotland tweeted three pieces of advice from David's speech which were:
'It's a marathon not a sprint. Keep breathing.'
'Don't be late, learn your lines, be nice.'
'If there's anything else you can do, do that! Above all enjoy yourselves - it's all nonsense.'
The RCS also tweeted from David's speech 'Acting is a privilege; to tell stories, take people into their dreams, inspire and make the world better.'
This is a selection of photos of the event.
