David played mild-mannered, long-suffering, henpecked husband Walt Jodell in the eight episode Camping which was broadcast in the US from Sunday 14th October
2018.
Camping was based on the British series of the same name. Jennifer Garner played Kathryn in the limited series.
The comedy kicked off on Walt's 45th birthday which was supposed to be a delightful weekend back to nature at least according to his obsessively organized and aggressively controlling wife Kathryn. But when the camping trip gathers Kathryn's meek sister, her holier-than-thou ex-best friend and a free-spirited tagalong in one place, it becomes a weekend of tested marriages and woman-on-woman crime that won't soon be forgotten.
The synopsis of this episode is:
'When the guys go on a fishing trip, Walt opens up about hi dead-on-the-water sex life.
Jandice encourages Carleen to loosen up and embrace her female strength.
Kathryn's attempt to mend things with Nina-Joy is overshadowed by a big announcement.
Miguel and Jandice's first misunderstanding gets serious fast.'
