The David Tennant Treat 4 Today is a clip from Richard II in which David Tennant played the title role.

David Tennant starred in Richard II for the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon from Thursday 10th October 2013 until Saturday 16th November 2013 (40 performances) before the production transferred to The Barbican Centre in London from 9th December 2013 until Saturday 25th January 2014 (45 performances). David played 85 performances in total. The performance on 13th November was screened in various cinemas around the world and was released on DVD. David Tennant played the title role. The play was directed by Gregory Doran.

David Tennant reprised his role as Richard II for The Royal Shakespeare Company during January 2016 and later that year the production played in New York too.
