David Tennant starred as Richard II for the Royal Shakespeare Company production of the play in Stratford-upon-Avon from Thursday 10th October until Saturday 16th November 2013 before the production transferred to the Barbican Centre in London from Monday 9th December 2013 until Saturday 25th January 2014.

David Tennant reprised his role as Richard II for the RSC Kings And Country cycle at Barbican in January 2016 before transferring at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music (BAM) in New York in March 2016.
