The website ShadowBlocked reviews various episodes of Doctor Who and the David Tennant Treat 4 Today is his review of the episode The Girl In The Fireplace.
It's an interesting and detailed read and, although he clearly states, that he doesn't find the episode as enjoyable as most people do, he makes some interesting comments in the review and he praises David Tennant.

I don't find it as enjoyable as others either, even though its Moffat and I LOVE Moffat. I don't like how the Doctor just abandons Rose. I think it's against his character... He didn't know if he could get back...
