The David Tennant Treat 4 Today is a piece of David Tennant history as (I believe) it was the first time that rumours about him playing in Hamlet for the Royal Shakespeare Company was printed by a British national newspaper.
There had been mutterings online that he may have been in talks but Baz Bamigboye of the Daily Mail was the first to write it in a newspaper. Although lots of people make snide remarks about the Daily Mail, Baz has a good reputation for getting the news first as he did on this occasion.
The David Tennant Treat 4 Today is the little blurb which was posted in the TV Choice television listings magazine the week which the Doctor Who episode Fear Her (based during the London 2012 Olympics) was televised.
On Saturday evening BBC America in the US started screening a new series about the Science of Doctor Who.
A lot of the programme was Steven Moffat being interviewed so was geared around Matt Smith as The Doctor but there were some clips shown of David Tennant's era shown too.
Here are three videos from the beginning of the programme which somebody has kindly uploaded. There are clips of David in each of these.
It's a slightly unusual David Tennant Treat 4 Today we're posting today! You can call it self-indulgence or just preserving it for prosperity!
Apart from the David Tennant Diary Dates, the main page of DavidTennantOnTwitter.com frequently changes to reflect David Tennant's latest projects.
