David seemed to be as delighted with meeting Julie Andrews as he was with winning the award!

Somebody tweeted at lunchtime that they had just done "a screening for David Tennant" and tweeted they thought he was a "Thoroughly lovely chap."
The person then followed it by tweeting that David had "remembered my name a full 90mins after being introduced. Professional. "

It was part of the series of "Postcard from America" type clips which Russell T Davies and Julie Gardner submitted regularly to BBC Radio Wales.
In this clip they are joined by David Tennant and Doctor Who director Euros Lynn. David talks about driving in the US, his first ever Hollywood film audition and portion sizes in America.

The question was what was the significance of the numbers 3, 2, 8, 4. 3 and 8, 3, 6, 6, 2, 6, 8 and the answer (which quite a few people emailed me with) was that it is David Tennant spelt out on a standard telephone keypad. For example the number 2 has the letters A, B and C on it and the number 3 has D, E and F and so on.
The reason I thought that Americans in particular may have been more likely to guess it is that lots of companies there will advertise their number with their name e.g. 1-800-GO-FEDEX which translates as 1-800-46-33339 for the courier company Fedex.
Back to today and the David Tennant Treat 4 Today is David Tennant's appearance on Through The Keyhole in March last year. This was part of 24 Hour Panel People where David Walliams did a series of panel programmes for 24 hours to raise money for charity
As well as an edited version being broadcast about a week later on UK television, lots of David's fans were able to watch the recording of the programme almost live on the internet.

This was while he was playing in Look Back In Anger during the Edinburgh leg of the tour.
David had just filmed Harry Potter and Casanova and it was before he was offered the role in Doctor Who.
The first paragraph of the interview is a prophetic "The name may not be familiar yet, but over the coming year David Tennant should earn both critical acclaim and household fame!"

During transmission #Earthflight was the second to top trended item in the UK!
To celebrate that the David Tennant Treat 4 Today is a collection of tweets about David Tennant's narration which were posted during the hour the programme aired:
Watching Earthflight. I didn't know saying the word 'blubber' could sound so sexy, yet David Tennant just pulled it off!
Earthflight is bloody awesome, not as awesome as David Tennant's voice. It's like Lindor chocolate drizzled in Iron Bru.
Finding Earthflight a lot better due to the fact that David Tennant is narrating. He has a beautiful voice. Matches his face.
David Tennant's Scottish accent is unbelievably gorgeous.
I think David Tennant is a great narrator on #Earthflight, such a great programme. I bet Attenborough wishes he took the job.
I'm probably biased as a #doctorwho fan, but I like the way David Tennant narrates these wildlife documentaries, really brings them to life.
The only reason I would watch Earthflight is because David Tennant narrates it and I find his voice wildly attractive.
I want David Tennant to narrate my life.
Just watching #Earthflight ... wildlife is so much more interesting when narrated by the yummy Mr David Tennant :)
It's a very manly programme, this Earthfight. I wonder if David Tennant is employed to keep the wives happy.
To be fair, not everybody tweeted that they liked David doing the narration but some people do not like any wildlife narration unless it is by David Attenborough!
